The SL.PHLY is a PA12 (Polyamide 12) tube, specially developed for use as an air brake line. The tubes are manufactured in accordance with standards DIN 73378/74324. Due to the production technique used, this tube is stiffer than the SL.PA, making it more impact-resistant at low temperatures.
The SL.PHLY can be used at temperatures between -40 °C and +80 °C, with allowable working pressures decreasing as the temperature increases (see table). The tube also offers excellent chemical resistance, is hydrolysis-resistant, and provides outstanding UV resistance. The SL.PHLY is available only in black, in 100-metre rolls and 300-metre reels.
