The SP.PA is a PA12 (Polyamide 12) spiral hose, specially developed for use in air brake systems. The hoses are produced in compliance with DIN 73378/74324 standards.
The SP.PA can be used at temperatures between -40 °C and +80 °C, with permissible working pressures decreasing as temperature rises (see table). The hose also offers very broad chemical resistance, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and outstanding UV stability.
Each spiral hose is supplied as standard with 180 mm long terminals, fitted with male threaded fittings (M16x1.5) and an anti-kink spring. Internal diameter Ø100 mm and external diameter Ø124 mm.
