Every situation calls for a different coupling. Keep the following considerations in mind when making your choice.
- Make sure you have the right seals. These quick couplings are available with FKM, EPDM or high performance FKM.
- The available threads are metric or BSPP.
- The plugs with metric threads are made of brass. The plugs with BSPP threads are made of nickel-plated brass.Â
- The sleeves of quick couplings without valve are made of nickel-plated brass.
- Use coloured marking rings for quickfit connections and for marking supply and return.
- Quick couplings with extended male thread can be easily connected to plugs in a mould.
Optional: lock
These quick couplings with locking can only be disconnected when the safety pin falls into the recess of the sleeve. This prevents unintentional disconnection and leakage of the media. In addition, it brings safety to your colleagues's, the machine and the tools.

Optional: swiveling
The ESHM and ESH series quick couplings are available in a swiveling version. These quick connectors are swivelled by means of a ball joint with a double O-ring seal. The swivel absorbs the movements of the hose and the opening and closing of the tool on the machine. This prevents wear of the quick coupling and the O-ring in particular. In addition, swivel prevents kinking on hoses leading to the tool and moulds.
