The DMCA/RC+ has been specially developed for applications where the compressed air is of lower quality and/or the ambient air is aggressive, for example when containing ammonia.

By using a highly corrosion-resistant cast aluminium alloy for the cylinder end caps and a special capture of the piston rod seals, the two main problems are resolved. Cylinder corrosion will largely be prevented, and the pulling out of the scraper/rod seal from its housing by an unlubricated piston rod — caused by condensation in the compressed air flushing away the factory grease — will be a thing of the past.
