Cylinders with a through-rod piston are mainly used in situations where the load on the piston rod is too high for the standard models. By moving the bearing points of the rod to the two end caps (instead of end cap and piston), the cylinder can withstand a much higher load, or you can use smaller cylinder diameters depending on the force requirements.
For models with male thread on the piston rod, simply add an M to the article number.
If you require a cylinder for a mounted construction that must not rotate, the ADMPA is the right choice for you, if you prefer not to use ISO 21287 cylinders.
