For many years, Q Plus has supplied swivels and valve blocks to Vervaet to ensure the operation of its in-house developed tyre pressure system. Through close cooperation, this system has been optimised and further professionalised.
Tyre pressure systems are increasingly popular for reducing wear on both soil and tyres. Here are some key reasons to choose a tyre pressure control system:
An overinflated tyre leaves deep ruts in the field. This can damage crops and soil structure, while also increasing fuel consumption. Michelin research shows that just 1 cm deeper rutting results in 10% more fuel usage. To prevent this, it is better to drive with lower pressure tyres in the field. On the road, however, higher pressure tyres are more efficient.
By combining the expertise of Q Plus and Vervaet, a system has been created that perfectly meets these requirements.
Customer needs vary widely, which is why the system is modular and easily adaptable. This allows customer-specific requirements to be integrated seamlessly.
Since speed and simultaneous pressure changes are often crucial, the on-board compressor may not always have sufficient capacity. To address this, Q Plus also offers a highly reliable vane compressor which, with minimal maintenance, can quickly and easily adjust and maintain the correct tyre pressure.
