Woodwave - a new compressed air piping system for the production hall
Woodwave is an all-round furniture maker based in Rotterdam. The company has been active since 2006 and has continued to grow steadily since moving to a historic, characterful industrial building at the Keilehaven in Rotterdam.

Expansion of the AluSic Piping System
To ensure sufficient accessible compressed air connections for the 25-strong team, a AluSic compressed air piping system had previously been installed. Due to the positive experience with AluSic, it was decided to expand the system this year.
During the summer shutdown, the remaining workshops were equipped with this piping system. Throughout the process, the installation team was able to rely on the technical advice of Q Plus specialists.
Height Differences
A ring main of Ø50 and around twenty drop lines of Ø25 were installed. Due to the historic nature of the building, which presented challenges such as varying ceiling heights, 45° bends were creatively applied. The result is a neatly finished piping system.
