When to Choose Adjustable or Pre-Set Pressure Regulators?

In many situations it is desirable – or even necessary – to reduce the pressure at the point of use. Tools generally require no more than 6.3 bar, and every tenth of a bar above that is wasted energy. This is why using a pressure regulator is a smart choice.

Pre-Set Pressure Regulator

Many pressure regulators, once set, are rarely or never adjusted. In such cases, it can be more practical to choose a pre-set pressure regulator. This in-line regulator is placed directly before the tool. The SaveAir and ToolReg are mounted in-line between the hose, while the CartReg is a miniature regulator that can be mounted directly in the tool – very compact and practical.
