HoseGuard: efficient protection against broken pipes and hoses
The HoseGuard hose safety device provides simple and efficient protection in the event of a broken compressed air pipe or hose.
When the airflow exceeds a pre-set value, the HoseGuard immediately shuts off the air supply. This value is factory-set to allow normal air consumption when using air tools.
If the air consumption exceeds the set value – for example, due to a broken air line – an internal valve shuts off the main flow. A small bleed hole ensures that the main flow is automatically reopened by the HoseGuard once the compressed air pipe or hose has been repaired.

These products are intended as safety devices in case of line breakage; it is essential that you base your selection on the user’s air consumption. An incorrect selection will cause the product not to function as expected.
