Agroservice Winterswijk - trouble-free milking

In late 2016, we received a request from a farmer with over 500 dairy cows to fix the many breakdowns and air leaks in the parlour. Because they milk almost continuously in a conventional way on 2 x 12 milking places, they are very dependent on the pneumatics working properly.

MelQ adsobtion dryer and MelQ cylinders

After inspection by Agro Service Winterswijk, they concluded that the faults and leaks were caused by moisture in the air system. As the existing system was too far affected by the moisture in the old situation, they opted to rebuild the entire air piping system and ensure well-conditioned (dry!) air. A MelQ MQ-AD60 (60 m3/h) adsorption dryer was installed for this purpose. The pneumatic cylinders present were also replaced for MelQ cylinders.

We are now several (harsh) winters on, and milking is still going on without a malfunction or leak.
