Shut-Off Valves for Safe Compressed Air Systems

Shut-Off Valves for Safe Compressed Air Systems

A Safe Working Environment with Shut-Off Valves

According to the Machinery Directive, maintenance on a pneumatic system must be carried out without pressure. In addition, you must prevent non-authorised personnel from unexpectedly, unintentionally, or prematurely pressurising the system. These shut-off valves therefore contribute to a safe working environment.

Safety Measures

According to the Machinery Directive, maintenance on a pneumatic system must be carried out without pressure, and it must be prevented that the system is pressurised unexpectedly, unintentionally, or prematurely by unauthorised personnel. Every machine must comply with CE requirements and therefore be equipped with at least one self-venting (3/2) shut-off valve.

Choose model KN-KSOV, electrically or pneumatically actuated, or the manually operated model KN-KBAV. This valve can be locked for safety using multiple padlocks (not included).

Slow Starter

If, during machine start-up, there is a risk of crushing or damage caused by cylinders moving too quickly, a slow-start valve is required.

Distribution Blocks

For branching compressed air at different pressures, or supplying both lubricated and non-lubricated air, distribution blocks are available. Models with a check valve are also offered to prevent any backflow of compressed air.
