Analysis and Sampling

Wide Range of Options

Discover Stäubli’s versatile quick coupling families for analysis and sampling applications, including the RBE series with a wide choice of sizes, materials and sealing options, the HCB series in stainless steel 316L with dry break design for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the compact MCB series with minimal disconnection losses, and the robust NCB series — ideal for toxic and aggressive media, offering multiple material choices and working pressures up to 160 bar. Choose Stäubli’s reliable and versatile quick couplings.

RBE: Versatile Series with Multiple Configurations

Available in five nominal bores from 3 to 19 mm and three main materials ranging from chrome steel to stainless steel 316L. The couplings can be supplied in virtually all valve configurations and with nearly any seal type. Pressure ratings range from 450 bar down to an almost absolute vacuum of 0.001 Torr.

The RBE series also offers numerous options such as key coding to prevent cross-connection of different media, panel mounting, and push-button designs. Special surface treatments, cleanroom packaging and many other options are possible.

For gases and liquids, the RBE is a cost-effective quick coupling with unmatched versatility and quality.

Modular design

The RBE coupling is modular in design, allowing for a wide range of configurations.

HCB Series: Dry Break Coupling with Multiple Options

The HCB is supplied as standard in stainless steel 316L, designed for demanding environments. Available in nominal bores of 3, 5, 8, 12, 16 and 20 mm, and suitable for pressures up to 350 bar (HCB03). Applicable with gases, vacuum and liquids.

This dry break (non-spill) coupling ensures virtually no air inclusion or fluid loss during disconnection. With a broad range of seals and multiple non-interchangeable versions available, the HCB is particularly suited to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Thanks to its user-friendly bayonet locking system, the HCB is compact yet offers good flow capacity with low pressure drop. Multiple threaded or pipe connections are available, and Tri-Clamp connections can be supplied on request.

  • Virtually no disconnection loss (MCB03: 0.001 cc)
  • Robust construction
  • Male plug made of hardened and ground steel for extended durability
  • Long guidance surface to absorb mechanical stress and vibration
  • Automatic locking — no need to retract the sleeve when connecting
  • Working pressures up to 100 bar (MCB03)
  • Available with various seals: NBR, FPM (Viton), EPDM, or FFKM (Kalrez)

Options

  • Electro-polishing
  • Oxygen applications
  • Oil- and grease-free finish
  • FDA or USP compliance

NCB: The Essential Choice for Toxic or Aggressive Media

The NCB is a dry break coupling, ensuring zero spillage and no air inclusion. It is the ideal choice for toxic, expensive or odorous media.

Supplied as standard in stainless steel 316L, but also available in Monel, Duplex 2000, Hastelloy and other corrosion-resistant materials. Seal options cover almost every application — from solvents to highly aggressive chemicals.

Available in four sizes from 4 to 20 mm nominal bore. Attractive protective caps and plugs are included as standard.

Depending on the locking system, working pressures up to 160 bar are possible. Whether for sampling or container filling hoses, Stäubli provides maximum safety and reliability.
