Q Plus offers the ISO 6150B profile with both push-button operation and sliding sleeve operation. Both versions are available with either a plastic housing or a nickel-plated brass housing.
The push-button version is available in DN6 and DN8 with a plastic housing, and in DN11 with a housing made of stainless 17% chromium steel.
The sliding sleeve version comes standard with a plastic housing. The DN6 is also available in a nickel-plated brass version.
Q Plus advices the use of hardened steel plugs, as these do not get damaged when dropped on the workshop floor, unlike softer brass. Damaged plugs can cause costly leakages by damaging the O-rings inside the quick coupling. Replace your brass plugs as soon as possible.
What does health and safety legislation require from you regarding compressed air safety?
The key reference is Article 3.17 of the Dutch Working Conditions Decree: “Preventing hazards caused by objects, products, liquids or gases.” The risk of being struck or hit by objects, products or their components, as well as liquids or gases, or the risk of being trapped between objects, products or their components, must be prevented — and where this is not possible, reduced as much as possible.
