Paint & Lacquer Quick Couplings

Paint & Lacquer Quick Couplings

LAK and LAK/IP

With the LAK series, Stäubli offers a wide range of couplings for paint spraying. Professional users particularly value the long service life of these couplings.

There are two models: the LAK for solvent-based paints (for as long as they remain available) and the LAK/IP for water-based paints. The couplings are extremely lightweight and resistant to the abrasive properties of pigments.

Thanks to the special design of the plugs, paint does not leak from the capillary openings after disconnection, ensuring a clean working environment. Seals made of PVDF or PTFE ensure long service life. Naturally, the couplings are completely silicone-free. Their material and design make them easy to clean, and the connections are designed for direct attachment to spray guns or hoses.

Couplings are also available for circulation systems, plugs with filters, or extra lightweight couplings for compressed air supply. The range is complete — contact us for more details.

RBE: Versatile Series with Multiple Configurations

Available in five nominal bores from 3 to 19 mm and three main materials ranging from chrome steel to stainless steel 316L. The couplings can be supplied in virtually all valve configurations and with nearly any seal type. Pressure ratings range from 450 bar down to an almost absolute vacuum of 0.001 Torr.

The RBE series also offers numerous options such as key coding to prevent cross-connection of different media, panel mounting, and push-button designs. Special surface treatments, cleanroom packaging and many other options are possible.

For gases and liquids, the RBE is a cost-effective quick coupling with unmatched versatility and quality.

Modular design

The RBE coupling is modular in design, allowing for a wide range of configurations.

HVLP: Anti-Static Hose

Thanks to its anti-static properties, this hose attracts far less paint mist during use and therefore has a longer service life. Highly flexible, it will not coil and tip over onto freshly painted surfaces. Naturally, it is heat resistant and can remain in the spray booth at all times.

On request, hoses can be supplied with lightweight couplings in 7 or 8 mm bores. These plastic quick couplings (models ERS or ESG) will not damage body panels if they come into contact with them — offering extra peace of mind.
